The lagoon is one of the biggest and most beautiful in the world and it would be a shame not to take advantage of it. The Jardin Maoré provides numerous activities, e.g. boat trips, big-game fishing, waterski, etc.
The activities are well presented. All equipment is of high quality and is maintained on a regular basis. Fins ,face- masks and snorkels are available for snorkelling enthousiasts. Sea's kayaks are free for our guests.

Geologically, Mayotte is the oldest of the Comores Archipelago and is characterised by its smooth landscape : the highest peak, Mt. Bénara, only slightly exceeds 600 m, while its little brother, Mt. Choungui, situated a few kilometres from the hotel, offers a breathtaking overall view of the island from a height of 594m . To climb it is a unique experience. Many hiking trails criss-cross the island and our guides will help you discover unusual spots.

The hotel co-operates with two associations: «Mégaptèra» (protection of mammals in the Indian Ocean, especially whales and dolphins) and «Oulanga na nyamba» (protection of turtles). Both offer numerous eco-tourism activities.
