Apart from personal belongings, the next articles may be brought in duty- free :
- 200 cigarettes or 100 cigars, 2 litres of wine, 1 litre of alcohol or two bottles of whisky, 50 ml perfume or 100 ml eau de toilette(lotion).
Animals...
To bring in pets, three requirements must be met :
- vaccination against rabies one month before departure
- a visble mark be tattooed on the animal
- a health sertificate issued by a veterinary surgeon not more than 5 days before departure

Anti-malaria treatment
According to a weekly epidemiological bulletin, it is acceptable to resort to protection against mosquito bites, since no anti-malarial profilactic is 100% safe. Our bungalows are equipped with mosquito nets and air conditioning.
Vaccination against smallpox, cholera or yellow fever is not required when entering Mayotte.
Getting there...
Access by air...
Three air companies connect Mayotte to other countries : Air Austral, Air Madagascar and Comores Aviation.
The most direct access, including the most flights, with a minimum of one flight per day, is from Reunion Island.
From France, several airlines are linking Reunion Island with Paris, Marseille and Toulouse at a rate of 4 to 5 flights per day, depending on the season. A direct flight between Paris and Reunion Island takes 10 hours, or 12 hours with a stop-over.
The 2 hour flight between Reunion and Mayotte is presented by Air Austral only and a maximum of 20 kg of luggage is allowed.
